The Forthink furniture line by Ofita designed for collaborative, mobile and visual work – optimal for agile methodologies – forms part of the exhibition “30 years of industrial design” at Universidad Politécnica de Valencia. Forthink was designed in collaboration with the innovation agency Thinkers Co.

“If we could define the Forthink furniture, we would talk about versatility; about building visual spaces and above all, about movement” explains Juan Gasca, CEO and founder of Thinkers co.

30 years of industrial design at the University

This exhibition celebrates the implementation of industrial designs in academic structures of this university offering a journey through the production of different promotions of designers who studied at its campus with an evolution from induction to self-learning to the special training in trends, processes and technologies.

The exhibition coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the creation of Universitat Politècnica de València offers a retrospective of the creations of 26 designers, studios and companies who have been working since the 80s to date.

Visual and mobile spaces with Forthink

Forthink helps teams work in a more visual, cooperative and collaborative way. It is a system of whiteboards and different supports with magnetic and writable surfaces.

“Forthink is a furniture line oriented to intensive collaboration which allows teams to work together towards an objective but at the same time to disseminate because users may take with them to another space part of the work developed on boards. With Forthink we can create this central space for the innovation but small moments or spaces are also necessary and that is the reason for the creation of totems and work modules that just as boards, can be taken to another area or to our work station” explains Juan Gasca of Thinkers co.

The collection is formed by:

Magnetic panels

Magnetic sheets with a whiteboard surface to write and erase on them.

These panels help us work in a more virtual manner accelerating learning and making work sessions more collaborative.

Magnetic walls

Forthink turns any wall into a work space. The special painting of walls allows the pasting of magnetic panels. Users may write and erase as many time as they want.

Totem

Mobile part where you can write and erase. It also has a metallic structure that helps us easily place magnetic panels. They are perfect both for agile meetings and to work in a dynamic manner with several people and challenges at the same time.

Working modules

This modular furniture with wheels helps us create spaces in an easy and agile manner. Its metallic structure helps us place magnetic panels to work on them.

Mini agoras

Their main feature is to create work spaces for the dissemination of knowledge and to motivate participants in team dynamics. These mobile agorae act as leverage of teams as well as configuration of new spaces.

Containers to sore the stuff of users.
