Ofita has inaugurated its new modern Development and Logistics Centre, located in the industrial estate Subillabide in Vitoria.
The over 30,000 m2 installations house the product innovation and development equipment (with offices designed and equipped for the new work dynamics: encouraging communication, teamwork, mobility, flexibility…); a new automated installation for the manufacture of chairs and an intelligent logistics centre, from which the group’s logistics will be carried out.
With this investment, “we have aimed to improve and modernise our infrastructures to attend to clients more efficiently and to continue with our commitment to the development of new products. In coming years, innovation will again be the driving force behind the company. Thus, and despite the current difficult situation, Ofita continues to invest in knowledge and in analysing the trends and new future dynamics, in order to provide them with the most innovative solutions. Far from resisting change, the company is still working -and will continue to do so at this new centre- on the launching of new products”, according to Camilo Agromayor, director of Ofita.
In the construction of the new Development and Logistics Centre, and in its subsequent activity, aspects such as sustainability, with an important reduction of energy and water consumption, have been taken into account
