LACER, a leading Spanish pharmaceutical laboratory in oral and body health products, has inaugurated a new corporate headquarters in Barcelona, a space of 3,000 m2, located at Diagonal 605.

The new facilities house 160 people from central services and are adapted to the company’s new ways of working, fostering its cultural transformation, geared towards digitization and sustainability.

Ofita furniture and chairs accompany the company in this transformation, and take care of the health and safety of its people.

Their well-being and sustainability have been fundamental in the design of the new offices. The building has the Leed Gold energy and sustainability certificate and the WireScore certification, which guarantees the technological demands of its occupants.

The offices are looking for ways to promote greater flexibility and innovation in the management of human capital. To do this, they have a variety of fluid and diaphanous spaces where transparency prevails, and which promote communication and collaboration between the areas. There are also spaces designed for concentration, innovation, creativity, socialization and rest, helping the well-being of the workforce.

With the same objective, the company promotes a sustainable mobility plan, supporting journeys by bicycle or electric vehicles. The facilities also have changing rooms to facilitate physical activity.

Cushman & Wakefield has been the firm responsible for the construction management and change management of the project.

PRODUCTS: OX tables, (Lievore, Altherr, Molina design), sound-absorbing panels and protective screens, Easylevel elevating tables, MEET up sound-absorbing panels, Universal filing cabinet and Play task chair.

The OX operating stations have been customized by providing them with shared table-height pedestals that integrate the electrification. In the UNIVERSAL archive, a finger pull and storage with planters have been integrated.
