Gaias Europa, the academic hub in Valencia of the Universidad San Francisco de Quito (Ecuador). Ximo Roca Diseño interior design project.

The Universidad San Francisco de Quito (Ecuador) has inaugurated in Valencia GAIAS Europa, its academic hub, equipped with Ofita furniture. This is the first centre in Europe of this university, and was created with the aim of contributing to the conservation of ecosystems through research.

The interior design project for this centre is by the Valencian studio Ximo Roca Diseño XRD, and clearly bears its particular personality and its indisputable Mediterranean accent, visible in its formal cleanliness and colours.

Ofita has supplied furniture for the workstations, offices, classrooms, waiting areas and meeting rooms, with different programmes of desks and filing cabinets. Ofita’s product was specially adapted for this project. The classrooms, equipped with cutting-edge technology, have been designed as multifunctional spaces, and Ofita has customised the Meta and Gen desks with labelled tops and castors. In addition to its Mediterranean design and its location, in a privileged setting in the city centre, its large spaces for collaborative work stand out.
