The Vent Chair by Ofita, designed by Ximo Roca, has just been selected as a finalist in the VII ADCV Awards, in the “Product Design” category. With these awards, the Association of Designers of the Valencian Community (ADCV) aims to highlight design as a professional sector that works to generate a positive impact on business, culture, society, and the environment.

“If design is capable of shaping our future, it is time to ask ourselves what design will lead us to the future we desire. It is a moment to ask questions, to challenge the established, to imagine how we want to live, to create a space open to infinite possibilities. Creativity is the engine that drives innovation and transformation, the seed that questions the established, surpasses our limits, and envisions inspiring futures. Design is the way to shape all these possibilities. Let’s ask ourselves what future we want and what design will take us there. The finalists of the VII edition of the ADCV Awards are an example of this creativity and the infinite possibilities that design offers,” says the association of designers. The finalists were evaluated and selected by an independent jury composed of prestigious designers from among the 476 applications for the VII edition of these awards for the best Valencian design.

The ADCV Awards recognize the design and ergonomics of the Vent.

The Vent chair, according to its designer Ximo Roca, owes its name to the Levante wind to develop its sinuous shapes. In addition to its fine and lightweight design, with simple and rounded lines, this chair stands out for its excellent comfort and ergonomics. It is a reliable chair with the ergonomics of an operative chair, allowing the user to enjoy 8-hour workdays without fatigue.

The Vent is simple, with rounded lines, versatile, and functional. It is a single shell, with a wide variety of options, models, finishes, and different heights, so, thanks to all the possibilities it offers, the Vent is a versatile chair for different uses and spaces in the office and in collective areas.
