Ofita has received accreditation as an innovative company from the Basque Innovation Agency-Innobasque, the SPRI Group – Basque Business Development Agency and the Basque Government’s Department of Economic Development, Sustainability and Environment. This certificate accredits that the company has implemented non-technological innovation micro-projects to improve its position in the market, with the support of the Hazinnova programme.

The award ceremony was held in Vitoria-Gasteiz, in the Vital Building, and was attended by Alberto Fernández, Director of Technology and Innovation of the Basque Government, and Leire Bilbao, Director General of Innobasque. This conference in the capital of Alava is the last of a total of five meetings in different regions of the Basque Autonomous Community, in which the efforts made by a total of 209 Basque SMEs to join the Basque innovation ecosystem have been recognised.

Thirty-five companies in Alava have successfully implemented innovation projects thanks to the support of the Hazinnova programme. These organisations have completed a total of 50 innovative projects, both in terms of products and business processes in areas such as manufacturing, logistics, marketing, administration and finance.
